Before this journey could even get started,
I had to go on a mission and propose to my chosen confettibirds.
They had no idea what was coming their way,
and not a clue about the plan that I had already made for us.
Luckily, they all said YES to join me on my first adventure!

The inspiration and location hunt.
It`s taken many years to get here, from a growing dream and so many different ideas, to the complete collection and concept.
But it`s all about the journey, isn’t it?
It sure felt like a bold move to say goodbye to the steady and secure routines in my life, and to sell all of my belongings to get my plan for the future started. So first, I bought a printer and made my apartment into one giant moodboard….
I had some crazy months with thousands of ideas in my head. But then, the ideas became stories, and along with the stories, the people within them. This was the key ingredient for the creation of the confettibird universe. A universe that shall always be based on the realest and most important thing in a persons life, the people within it.
I started to developing the first collection that I dedicated to the most inspiring human beings in my life.
This collection is dedicated to nine confettibirds, each have their own piece that is sprinkled with their unique personalities.
During the Christmas of 2017 I finally got to gather all the chosen birds in one room. Some of them already good friends, some of them strangers, but at the end of the night we had created the first bird squad, and we could feel the world had just been waiting for us to come together and sparkle.
